Bouncing off the walls like a 6-year old hepped up on chocolate
As we wrap up the first week of the new year all I can say is wow. Every day this week has been a networking adventure and it's only week 1.
I started the week with the new NH Business Partner Finders group on Monday, Coffee Buzz on Tuesday, Millyard Networking and the Spanish Conversation group on Wednesday and that was just the tip of the iceberg.
I met so many new people this week that I'm in overwhelm. My phone is ringing off the hook. People are texting, emailing, and connecting all over the place and I am bouncing off the walls like a 6-year old hepped up on chocolate.
Almost every new connection led to more business and networking opportunities and I can't help but think that Manchester and New Hampshire are going to soon become the destination for startups and entrepreneurs.
Which brings me to one of this week's big news items from Queen City Buzz, I started a LinkedIn group for the NH Business Partner Finders group.
Our meetup group only plans on meeting once a quarter and I had such a huge response when I announced the group that I decided we needed a place to post and share opportunities and information between meetups. The NH Business Partner Finder group on LinkedIn is a regional networking group where start-ups, entrepreneurs, and freelancers can meet other entrepreneurs and freelancers interested in collaborating on projects and/or becoming working business partners. No sales, no recruiters, no MLM/network marketing.
Looking at next week's calendar, my top 3 picks are Alpha Loft's Startup Mornings Manchester and the Google Developers Group - NH's Using Firebase to Build a Backend for Your Mobile App event on Tuesday, and the Manchester Young Professional Network (MYPN) January Social Event on Wednesday. But these are just three of next week's events.
Now that I've expanded coverage into Concord and Nashua the events calendar has something almost every day of the week. Take advantage of it. Make 2017 the year you expand your network and opportunities.

Before I wrap up this week's Roundup, I want to take a minute to give a shout-out to Ideal Health, LLC and NH Business Show.
I talk a lot about the importance marketing and networking and Stephanie Edwards and Chris Pastrana are a great example of why it's important to have a strong network and how it can benefit you.
I walk and drive past Stephanie's office almost every day, but I never met her until one of my clients introduced us. Fast forward five years and another friend introduced me to Chris because she was sure there was some project we could work on together. A few months later Stephanie was looking for a way to promote her business that would reach and connect with potential customers without breaking the bank so I connected her with Chris. The end result was a series of very compelling testimonial videos.
Take a look at the videos. I guarantee you this is the message you want to send to potential customers.
The people giving the testimonials are not actors. They're actual clients, people you might run into at the supermarket or meet waiting in line at Aroma Joe's and the value of the videos is priceless.
Not only is it a testament to the service that Stephanie provides, but the videos are maximizing her marketing dollars. They can go on her website, be shared on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and every other social media outlet. They're also the first thing that people will see when they go online to find someone to help them lose weight and it will make a difference to both Stephanie and her potential customers.
Have a great week and don't forget that if you are consistent in your networking there will be a reward.
